Steel Fabrication Unit
unit helped engineer Autokast and Silkforge, and is today a 5,000 tons per year
fabrication shop. Under a covered area of 6,000 sq.m. the unit is equipped with
20 MT lifting capacity, facilities for material preparation, including profile
cutting, and all types of welding. The unit has also attracted the most skillful
hands in fitting and welding and highly qualified engineers. Man and machine
together manufacture products like Transformer tanks, Chemical vessels, Blast
furnace structures, Turbine parts, Technological stuctures, Microwave towers,
Cyclone shelter, Transmission towers, Switchyard structures, Radial/Vertical
gates, Draft tube gates, Penstocks, etc. for clients like Steel plants,
Railways, Cement plants, Electricity boards, Shipyards, BHEL, BEML and several
others.
This is a large structural fabrication unit which carries
out total design, engineering, manufacture and erection of large Steel trusses,
Transmission towers, Pressure vessels, Penstock pipes for Hydro stations, Steel
bridges, Hanging steel rope type bridges, Canal gates, Canal sluices and
multiplicityof such Steel and Structural fabrication.
An approved agency by Govt of India (Ministry of Food Processing Industries) for turn-key execution of Abattoir (Animal Slaughter Houses).
SILK has also been approved as a nodal agency for establishment of Abattoir for muncipalities, panchayats, etc. in Kerala state, India. Three such major works are being completed by SILK in Kerala in a short span of time. SILK has acquired technology for mini slaughter houses ideally suitable for customers all around the world.
