Ship Breaking Unit (Kozhikode) Port Based
Located by the side of the Arabian Sea on the Malabar
coast of western India this unit is engaged in breaking of ships as its main
activity. The Chaliyar river offers a draft of 4m to facilitate vessels upto 5,000 tonnes LDT. This unit has the facility of large capacity mobile cranes (8T, 30T, 75T) and winches, compressed air and covered area. It can also undertake structural & steel fabrication in Malabar region.
The entire facility can be offered to prospective ship breakers on mutally agreeable terms.
